RICARDO ROJAS GAONA

Founding and Managing Partner.  A Lawyer graduated from Universidad de Los Andes (Venezuela-1994), Intellectual Property Specialist from the University degli Studi di Torino (Italy-2001) and Specialist in the same area by the Universidad de Los Andes. Scholarship holder from the World Intellectual Property Organization (Switzerland 2000/2001).
Before establishing the firm, he served for several years as a legal manager of the department of Intellectual Property law firm of Benson Perez Matos, Antakly & Watts.
Also, he served in the departments of trademarks, patents and legal counsel of the Servicio Autonomo de la Propiedad Intelectual (SAPI), Venezuela’s agency in charge of supervising Intellectual Property rights in Venezuela.
He served as legal counsel to PDVSA-INTEVEP, S.A; The research and development center of Petroleos de Venezuela S.A.  He served as legal advisor to the international oil company Vetra Group.
He has written several articles in specialized journals in the areas of expertise and actively participates as a speaker.
Holder of distinctions from the World International Property Organization (WIPO-Geneva), Servicio Autónomo de la Propiedad Intelectual (SAPI-Venezuela), ULA (Venezuela).
